Give it up for your Midwest Fire Fest 2023 headliner… Wurk, the Madison Area Music Association 2022 band of the year! Described by Isthmus Magazine as “summer-jam-perfect,” this 5-piece funk-fusion group will keep you groovin’ all night! Inspired by Snarky Puppy, Umphrey’s McGee, Herbie Hancock, and many others, their innovative original songs and ambitious interpretations of popular covers offer an impressive multi-genre exploration of funk, jazz fusion, prog rock, reggae, and more.

Get ready to jam out to The Double Sharps, a rock band from Hartland Arrowhead Union High School and a finalist in this year’s Rockonsin competition! Rockonsin, a not for profit program, is a statewide garageband competition for 7th – 12th grade musicians of all musical genres that form a group outside of school. All 10 finalists played at Summerfest!

The Wild Heathens is a three piece band that serves up deluxe classic rock tunes that’ll get your motor runnin’. Based right here in Cambridge, they bring the smash hits and unexpected deep cuts to life featuring some sweet guitar action.

Aloha! Hot Hawaiian guitar meets jazz à la Django with the incomparable sounds of Christo’s Novelty Combo – Gypsy Jazz and Hawaiian Steel Guitar. They bring a very cool and unique mix of 1920s and 30s-era Hawaiian tunes and the swinging sounds of French jazz from the 1930s and 40s.

Little Earthquakes is a 5-piece original musical project from Madison, Wisconsin. Recorded in a converted chicken coop, Little Earthquakes’ debut album, Promises sounds simply like old friends making beautiful noise, spanning influences from Fiona Apple to Portishead, Caroline Rose to Unknown Mortal Orchestra. The songs invite you to find an escape from life’s little heartbreaks and celebrate getting through it all with a little swagger and strut.
